Are You Trying to Find the Quickest Way to Lose Weight?
Everyone is looking for the quickest way to lose weight. There are all kinds of stories about people losing a bunch of weight using some crazy diet. These diets often do not work the way that they are advertised. These I like to call fad diets. They come and go very quickly without any sustainability because they simply do not work. I tell people to avoid these kinds of diets.
These diets do not work because they often promote methods that are actually negatively impacting your weight loss. Your long term efforts are actually being hurt by low carb, or low calorie type diets. Actually the reason for this is that most of these diets are slowing down your metabolism. Your metabolism is extremely important because this is what cause you to burn fat. You are making it less effective when you deprive it of food, or fuel. These diets are not the quickest way to lose weight.
Only one diet that I have seen, goes against these fad diets. This is called a calorie shifting diet.This means that you are pushing your metabolism to its highest level so that you can burn the most calories possible.
Starving yourself will not accomplish this. Actually it is the opposite. Exercise and good nutrition are the two things that this diet combines. Actually, you get to eat more than you would normally on these diets. This is because as you exercise your bodies metabolic rate increases which causes you to need more food. This may seem a little counter intuitive but it works. This the quickest way to lose weight that I have seen.
What you are not doing is trying to trick you body. You are rewarded with very fast weight loss because you are giving it what it needs. One diet has worked well in particular for me. I almost lost 6 pounds in my first week!
